A morning monologue rapidly recited into my sleeping face:

"I was really hot.  Really, really hot.  So I scooted down and scooted down my pillow.  And there was that lady with the scary face.  It was turned this way *shows me a sideways face* and her face was scary and then not scary. *sees my questioning look* Yeah!  The lady from that one book at the bookstore+.  And Curious George and the man in the yellow hat- his friend- they were scared too.  All of that was in my head.  I thought it.  *pauses*  I love you, Mama."
