7:11pm- Digging and shoveling and raking and planting all afternoon and into the evening. "Let's eat out here. Will you start the fire while I gather the food?"
We had mud on our knees, smoke in our hair and marshmallow on our fingers. After a scrub, a warm cozy bed felt wonderful.
A weekend bookended by picnics.... oh how I adore Spring.
